The Stay Up Late Show (SULS) is a theatrical producing body, focused on stimulating older artists to make new work and exposing new artists to established audiences. In addition, The Stay Up Late show produces its one-of-a-kind LIVE talk show/cabaret on a quarterly basis, bringing together the best of theater, burlesque, arts, politics, and local cuisine.

This year, SULS will be focusing on a workshop/ reading of HIBISCUS, a musical about one of the original Cockettes (Before there was RuPaul. there was HIBISCUS)!
“Guess Who?” a re-imagining of “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” with a variety of different ‘mis-matched’ couples, as well as our Quarterly The Stay Up Late Show cabaret and a TBA themed burlesque.

A FEW our past productions (of which we’re quite proud!

“Girl You Know It’s True”- the West Coast Premier of Bixby Elliot’s darkly comic tale of cultural identity mis-appropriation, centered around the Milli Vanilli scandal
Whovian Holiday Spectacular, a Doctor Who burlesque
Shake That Tree- a Rainer Cherries burlesque, featuring spICE! and Kiki Mustang
NERDLESQUE! A production of nerd-burlesque at the PBH Edinburgh Free Fringe in Scotland. It was the FIRST all-nerd-themed burlesque in the history of the Edinburgh Free Fringe!

The Stay Up Late Show has been a Shunpike-affiliated group since 2010.
